River developed a strong drive for advocacy through his passion for the environment and photography. Through the lens of a camera, he was not only able to capture the change he was seeing in the world around him but he was able to tell its story. He found himself enveloped in environmental studies at Salisbury University on the eastern shore of Maryland, where he was able to find his
voice.
During his studies, River was taught to push the boundaries of research and development, to diversify his niche and able himself to weave varying disciplines into humanitarian positions. His journey did not stop there, however. Before earning his degree, he and several colleagues succeeded in founding a widely diverse, community service oriented fraternity in the small town of Salisbury Maryland, whose motto stands true as ‘an assisting hand’.
River is dedicated to making an impact on the world. He brings this passion to his workas a key member of our Airway Revolution research team.
